REFUND POLICY – ZIPPZOOM

Thank you for choosing ZippZoom. We strive to provide reliable and transparent services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.

 

  1. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLES
  • Service-Based Model:
    ZippZoom operates on a booking-based service model (car rentals, travel services, etc.). Refunds are subject to booking terms and timing of cancellation.
  • Non-Transferable:
    Bookings and any associated refunds are non-transferable.
  • Discretionary Basis:
    All refunds are processed at the sole discretion of ZippZoom, subject to this policy.

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

2.1 Cancellation Before Trip Start

  • Free Cancellation (if applicable):
    Full refund may be provided if cancellation is made within the allowed time window before trip start (as shown at booking).
  • Partial Refund:
    If cancelled after the free cancellation window:
    • A cancellation fee may apply
    • Remaining amount (if any) will be refunded

 

2.2 After Trip Start

  • No Refund:
    Once the trip has started, no refund will be provided for:
    • Early returns
    • No-shows
    • Unused booking duration

 

2.3 Service Issues / Platform Fault

Refunds may be considered in cases such as:

  • Vehicle not available at pickup
  • Major vehicle issues reported at start
  • Booking cancelled by Host or ZippZoom

In such cases:

  • Full or partial refund may be provided
  • Alternative vehicle/service may be offered

 

2.4 Cancellation by ZippZoom

If a booking is cancelled by ZippZoom due to operational or technical reasons:

  • Full refund will be issued to the User

 

2.5 Violation of Terms

If booking is cancelled due to:

  • User misconduct
  • Policy violation
  • Fraudulent activity

  1. REFUND PROCESSING
  • Review Time:
    Refund requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund Method:
    Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing Time:
    It may take 5-10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account
  • Currency:
    Refunds will be processed in the original transaction currency

 

  1. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Convenience fees / platform fees
  • Late cancellation charges
  • No-show bookings
  • Add-on services (driver, fuel package, etc.) once used
  • Extra usage charges (overtime, damages, penalties)
  • Promotional or discounted bookings (unless stated otherwise)

 

  1. CHANGES TO POLICY

ZippZoom reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.


6. Transaction Fee Policy

Transaction fee charges are non-refundable and non-reversible under any circumstances, including but not limited to refunds, reversals, chargebacks, or any other cases.

In the event that a transaction amount is refunded, the applicable transaction fee will be deducted, and only the remaining balance (after deducting the transaction fee) will be refunded to the customer.
